Non-profit Organization
Walking a path of flowers, supporting orphans, families in need, and the wounded through education, dignity, and care.
About TAZC
Tareek Al Zuhoor Charity (tazc) is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to lifting up the most vulnerable across the region. We believe that every child deserves an education, every family deserves dignity, and every wound deserves care. Through partnerships, volunteers, and the support of artists and humanitarians, we turn compassion into measurable change.
Our Programs
Long-term support covering education, healthcare, and daily needs for orphaned children across the country.
Monthly food baskets, rent support, and emergency assistance for families facing hardship.
Medical treatment, rehabilitation, and prosthetics for survivors of conflict and accidents.
Scholarships and free music, art, and literacy classes — because a flower needs both soil and light.
Our Patron

Director
Born in Al-Kut, Iraq (1963) and a graduate of Baghdad's Institute of Musical Studies (1987), Naseer Shamma is one of the most influential oud virtuosos of our time. He reconstructed the eight-string oud from a millennium-old diagram by the philosopher Al-Farabi, founded Beit Al-Oud Al-Arabi in Cairo (1999) with branches in Abu Dhabi, Alexandria, Baghdad and Khartoum, and has carried the voice of Iraq to stages from Paris to Athens. His lifelong commitment to the children of war and to dialogue through music is woven into the spirit of our mission.
